Built from the other side of the listings desk.
Cohen Consulting is a single-principal advisory. The work is done by the Principal. The mandate count is capped. The read is unvarnished.
Tal Cohen — operator, counsel, executive.
Former CEO of a Tier-1 US centralized exchange. Before crypto, a career built on strategy consulting at a global firm and securities practice inside an international law firm. Twenty-five years in total, across three disciplines that rarely meet in one résumé.
The firm is structured around that operating perspective. Clients receive the analytical rigour of a consulting engagement, the risk sensibility of counsel, and the pattern recognition of someone who has sat on the listings committee.
Four commitments we won't flex.
- I
Fit before fee
If the listing case isn't there, we say so. We decline roughly two of three inbounds.
- II
Principal access
No associates. The Principal takes the call, writes the memo, and sits in the committee room.
- III
Transparent economics
Success fees are disclosed at letter-of-engagement. No opaque introducer arrangements.
- IV
Operator standard
Every deliverable is written to the standard a listings committee would accept on first read.
